- I was born in Hayward, California and raised in a small pit stain of a town 45 minutes south of Indianapolis, Indiana. While growing up I fought the typical fight that was required to stay afloat at a small close minded school. I played percussion in band from 6th grade through high school.I discovered skateboarding at age 13 (way before it was considered cool)and stuck with that for 14 or so years. After realizing that drumming in bands and skateboarding wouldn't take me too far I ventured out on the road at age 17. I lived in California for 2 summers and started attending Grateful Dead/Phish shows regularly along with rainbow gatherings. I caught the bug and started touring and vending pretty much full time around 2000 until 2003 (SCI,WSP,Phil,Phish, etc)when the police started doing a really good job of making sure that we weren't "illegally" selling dollar bottles of water and such. I started college in 2003 and graduated in 2005 with a management degree. I started disc golfing the same year and ended up going back to school and then moved to Oregon. I'm obviously still in school and I'm now officially a disc golf junkie/student seeking a Discraft sponsorship and a degree.
